What does our family's heart beat for?

For tradition, passion and love of nature and for the Alpenhof, a place of security for our guests and ourselves. The Alpenhof Ehrwald is now run by the fourth generation of the Pesendorfer family, and with the growing fifth generation, the future remains firmly in family hands.

Our story began with Anni Pesendorfer, a strong woman and mother of four, who took over the hotel from her father in the post-war years. She was a pioneer of her time, who not only built one of the first hotel swimming pools in Tyrol in the 1980s, but also actively participated in the hotel business until the ripe old age of 94.

Her life's work and her vision live on in our daily activities. Direct, cordial contact with our guests is particularly important to us. Many of our guests have become loyal regulars and dear friends over the years. This togetherness makes our Alpenhof a very special place.

All family members are deeply rooted in nature. For decades, we have dedicated ourselves to hunting and farming - a passion that is also reflected in the quality of our cuisine. Game meat, lamb, hard sausages and bacon come directly from our own hunting and rearing. Regionality and top quality are also a matter close to our hearts.
